"Dai was one of the National Academy for Educational Leadership Wales’ notable guest speakers for the Leadership Unlocked webinar series. This professional learning event explored the ‘Heart of Leadership’ and Dai’s own personal journey of self-awareness and reflection, providing the opportunity for educational leaders in Wales to meet, reflect, discuss issues, ideas and actions. He kept the session real, honest and authentic, sharing and demonstrating his leadership philosophy to inspire and motivate individuals through emotional awareness and an empathetic understanding of himself and others around him.

Those attending valued his honesty, loved the key messages and were inspired to reflect on how to stay humble and honest in a world that has such high expectations of leaders. Dai managed to put the ‘Heart’ back into leadership and gave all attending a renewed sense of purpose and belonging – Thank you!’"

Mark Isherwood (Assistant Director National Academy for Educational Leadership Wales)
